Our Chungdokwan Taekwondo was founded by Robert Fitton at Charles Darwin University in 1990 at the request
of the University Sports Officer. Some of the memorable moments have been the participation with great success in the Australian
University Games and Taekwondo Australia National Championship where many of our members were lucky enough to win Gold
, Silver and Bronze medals. The club was a founding member of the Charles Darwin University Sports Association.
Mr Fitton also has a background in Judo (Melbourne University), Thai Boxing (Thailand) and martial arts weapons (Thai,
Philippines and Japanese)
